Work with our team on custom suits, sport jackets, trousers, overcoats, and shirts through three virtual fittings. Smith Bespoke is based in Salt Lake City; this service lets you work with us from San Francisco without visiting the shop.
Build useful combinations, one garment at a time
Start with the gaps in your wardrobe: a dependable suit, a jacket that works with several trousers, or shirts that fit comfortably beneath both. We will help you plan garments around the situations in which you will wear them.
Your three fittings
1. Guided measurements
Meet with us over Zoom with a tape measure and a friend to help. We guide the measurements used to prepare your baste fitting. Pay a $500 deposit on your chosen garment, then book your 30-minute virtual fitting. The baste fitting is included. Your first order includes a white or blue dress shirt at no additional charge, and shipping both ways is included. The full $500 is credited toward your actual garment. If you decide not to proceed, $250 of the starting payment is refundable. Your baste fitting is prepared and shipped within three weeks.
2. The baste fitting
Once your fitting arrives, meet with us again by video. Together you review movement, fit, and design. Photographs are required as part of this review. This is when you finalize your garment order and pay the remaining balance, whether you are planning one suit or multiple garments. Finished garments take 4–5 weeks after this second fitting.
3. The final fitting
Review your finished clothing with us. If extra adjustments are needed, we start with a $100 credit toward a future Smith Bespoke order. If that does not resolve your concern, talk with us about reimbursement. Remakes are also available; we will work through the options with you. Your pattern is then kept on file to make future orders easier.
Preparing for your San Francisco virtual fitting
Before your appointment, identify the pieces you reach for most and the ones you avoid because of fit. Bring those examples to the video call. Discuss your usual layers and the occasions when you need to look more dressed up.
Appointments are arranged with your Pacific Time schedule in mind. Tell us which times work for you when you inquire. You will need a tape measure, a friend to assist with measurements, and a Zoom connection.
Starting prices
Suits start at $1,195, sport jackets in the collection at $995, trousers at $395, and custom shirts at $250. Your final price depends on the garments and cloth you choose. Overcoats start at $1,195.

We bring 15 years of experience in tailoring and 10 years of experience conducting fittings virtually. You work with a small tailor shop that values personal service, clear updates, and honest communication about your clothing.
Questions before you begin
Do I need to visit Salt Lake City?
The three-fitting service is designed to be conducted remotely. Your baste fitting is shipped to you, and you review it with us on video with supporting photographs.
Can I order more than one garment?
Yes. At the second fitting you can finalize an order for one suit or multiple garments. Discuss your priorities with us before choosing your order.
What happens when I want to reorder?
Your pattern is kept on file after the final fitting. Tell us about any changes in your measurements or fit preferences when you plan another order.
